Vanilla Matcha Latte

Ingredients 

  • 1 teaspoon Matcha powder
  • 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 teaspoon honey (or your favorite sweetener)
  • Optional: whipped cream or frothed milk for topping

Instructions

  • Heat the milk in a small saucepan until hot but not boiling.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the Matcha powder with a few tablespoons of hot water until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and honey to the hot milk, and stir well.
  • Pour the milk mixture into a blender, and add the Matcha mixture. Blend until frothy and well combined.
  • Pour the latte into a mug, and top with whipped cream or frothed milk (optional).
